A tribute to great Friends Many kennels in Holland and all over the world have had their roots in the Mongolie Chows (Kitty and Henk van de Wouw). You can still find the names of their most famous Chows in nowadays pedigrees like Pandee's New World Ambassador, Ch. Koeblai Khan Tiong Bwa, Ch. Troubadour v. Mongolie and last but not least Ch. Valric Prophet's Diplomat. Also Kennel Yokoti in Denmark (Signe Mortensen and Erik Herlin) have had many beautiful children from these magnificent dogs. Kitty and Henk, Signe and Erik have done a great job for their and our beloved breed. It was an honour and a pleasure to have known them during so many years with conversations and endless discussions. To have known them also means having a great admiration for these breeders with their love and care, not only for their champions and breeding-chows, but also for their non-breeding chows and the oldies. Having respected for their enormous knowledge, spirit and idealism to show us how a Chow must be, beautiful outside but also inside, with dignity and majestic, a companion for life! We miss them very deeply... |
